Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl 2018: By the numbers

Key numbers from Sunday's night's Super Bowl championship.

1.5 — Yards of the touchdown pass from Trey Burton to Nick Foles on fourth down at the end of the first half. It was Foles first catch since 2009 when he was a sophomore at the University of Arizona and a reception that lost 9 yards.

9:35 p.m. — Time of Rob Gronkowski's fourth-quarter touchdown that put the Eagles behind for the first time all night.

9:58 p.m. — Time referee Gene Steratore finally got around to announcing that Zach Ertz's 4-yard touchdown was actually a touchdown. A Super Bowl-winning play. NFL needs to change the stupid catch rule.

10:01 p.m. — Time Brandon Graham stripped Tom Brady and Derek Barnett recovered the fumble to give the Eagles the ball at the Patriots 31-yard-line with 2:09 left.

10:17 p.m. — Tom Brady's Hail Mary finally falls to the ground as the Eagles win their first Super Bowl.

21 — Yards of LeGarrette Blount's second-quarter touchdown run, the first Eagles rushing touchdown ever in Super Bowl play and his longest TD run as an Eagle.

31 minutes, 8 seconds — Length of halftime.

34 — Length of the first touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery, a spectacular catch on a 50-50 ball Nick Foles may not have thrown when he first replaced Carson Wentz in mid-December.

43 — Length of Foles' pass that Jeffery deflected into the air that was intercepted by Duron Harmon, a 50-50 ball that didn't work out. The Patriots went 90 yards on the ensuing drive to make it 15-12.

68 — Yards receiving Rob Gronkowski had on the first drive of the second half, punctuated by a 5-yard touchdown. He had 9 total yards in the first half, despite Tom Brady throwing for 276.

71 — The jersey number Lane Johnson again held up while running out of the tunnel before the opening kickoff. His way of saluting injured teammate Jason Peters.

100 — Receiving yards for rookie Corey Clement, a season high that included a 22-yard touchdown that was upheld upon review. Kid from Glassboro High had a terrific game.
