Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks practiced on Wednesday, the first day the Eagles were on the field since last Sunday's 27-24 win over the New York Giants.

Hicks left the game with an ankle injury, but his return is a positive sign. Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox did not practice. he left the Giants game with a calf injury. Coach Doug Pederson was optimistic about the recovery of both players.

"They are both doing exceedingly above expectation," Pederson said.

Safety Rodney McLeod returned to practice after missing last week's game. He had a hamstring injury, Corey Graham and Jaylen Watkins remain out.

Center Jason Kelce also missed practice. Pederson said that was because of rest. Stefen Wisniewski played center in practice and Chance Warmack played left guard.
