EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Stefen Wisniewski is inactive Sunday against the New York Giants, leaving the Eagles without their starting left guard in Nick Foles' first start of the season.

Wisniewski was questionable with an ankle injury. Without Wisniewski in the lineup, Chance Warmack will likely start. Isaac Seumalo could also see time. Warmack and Seumalo struggled last week after Wisniewski exited, so that will be a key spot to watch against the Giants. Will Beatty is making his season debut with the Eagles against his former team as the seventh offensive lineman on the active roster Sunday.

Cornerback Rasul Douglas is a surprise inactive for the Eagles. He's out to make room for linebacker Bryan Braman, who was signed Tuesday to contribute on special teams.

Braman, Beatty, and Nate Sudfeld are making their Eagles debuts. Sudfeld will be Nick Foles' backup quarterback.

The other inactives are linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, wide receiver Marcus Johnson, defensive end Steven Means, defensive tackle Elijah Qualls, and running back Wendell Smallwood.

Linebacker Joe Walker is back in the lineup after missing two games with a stinger.

Safety Landon Collins is playing for the Giants even though he was doubtful with an ankle injury.
