Katie Oligino's two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning made host Cherokee a 4-3 winner over Lenape on Friday in Olympic Conference softball.

Lenape took its first lead when Dallas Hogan hit a home run on the second pitch of the game.

Staked to a 9-0 first-inning lead, Michelle Arechavala pitched the Green Wave to a 12-1 win over visiting Lindenwold.

Cape-Atlantic. Holy Spirit snapped its season-opening six-game losing streak, as Brooke Hallet (3 RBIs) belted a two-run home run in the first inning to start the Spartans (1-6) on their way to a 10-5 triumph at Ocean City.
