Best of Pa. football, Week 1

Here are some of the best football performances of the weekend:

Julian White ran for two scores in the fourth quarter and a third in the second overtime as North Penn outlasted Neshaminy, 34-33, in the dramatic season opener Friday night for both squads in Langhorne.

Shane Dooley accounted for four touchdowns Friday, including a 72-yard pass to Katob Joseph, as Father Judge beat Ridley, 35-21.

Sean Mullarkey rushed for a 41-yard touchdown and hooked up with Matt Rosato for 46- and 10-yard touchdowns as Radnor defeated Upper Merion, 31-23.

Julz Kelly recorded six touchdowns in Sun Valley's 54-13 victory over Penncrest.

Desman Johnson Jr. went 10 for 16 for 216 yards and two touchdowns as Penn Wood defeated Souderton, 42-10. Johnson added 31 more rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Josiah Wiggins' 62-yard touchdown run highlighted a four-touchdown performance as Pottstown upended Octorara, 26-6.

West Virginia recruit Tykee Smith notched two touchdowns on the ground, including a 73-yard run in the fourth quarter, as Imhotep took down La Salle, 34-10.

Jamie Moccia piled up 149 rushing yards, 53 receiving yards, and four touchdowns in the first half as Boyertown defeated Upper Perkiomen, 37-12. Moccia's longest score came on a 71-yard run.

Daquan Robinson threw for three touchdowns and ran for one in Martin Luther King's 26-0 win over Wissahickon.
