Cardinal O'Hara beats La Salle in OT to reach Flyers Cup semis

Jacob Pohlig scored in overtime to give Cardinal O'Hara a 3-2 victory over La Salle in the Flyers Cup Class 3A quarterfinals on Thursday. Troy Percival made 32 saves for the Lions, who will take on No. 1 seed Holy Ghost Prep on Monday.

St. Joseph's Prep advanced with an 11-1 rout of Father Judge. Conor Ryan notched one goal and six assists for the Hawks, who got four goals from Marc Colavita.

Jack Costabile notched a hat trick as Malvern Prep rolled to a 10-0 win over Archbishop Ryan. The Friars will face St. Joseph's Prep in the semifinals.

Class A: Nick Ferraro recorded one goal and two assists to lead No. 1 seed West Chester Rustin past Palmyra, 5-2, in the quarterfinals at Ice Line. Jack Page and David Carney each added a goal and an assist for the Golden Knights, who will face either Springfield (Delco) or Hershey in Monday's semifinals.

Rustin has won fourth straight Flyers Cup championships.

In other Class A action, Dylan McLaughlin and Sean Heard each had two goals as West Chester East cruised past Unionville, 7-0. Richard Mullineaux, Nick Castura, and Zac Mulholland also scored for the Vikings, who saw goaltender Joey Galitski make 25 saves.

Next up for West Chester East is Strath Haven after the Panthers beat Lower Dauphin, 4-1.
