Downingtown West defeated Conestoga, 4-1, in a rematch of last year's District 1 Class 3A field hockey championship on Tuesday.

Tatum Johnson scored two goals for Downingtown West, and Claudia Jaszczak and Anna Miller each added one goal. The Whippets won last year's District 1 title against the the Pioneers and advanced all the way to the state championship, where they lost to Penn Manor.

Katie LaBella had two goals for Archbishop Carroll in a 4-1 victory against Springfield (Delco). Grace O'Neill and Mave Riehman added the other two goals for Carroll, and Julia DiRita and Riehman each contributed an assist for the Patriots. Carroll goalie Mary Kate Kearney had four saves.

Julia Downing and Gabby Martina scored twice as Perkiomen Valley defeated Kennett, 8-2. Kelly Baittinger, Danielle Hamm, Emma Hass, and Katie Wuerstle also tallied goals for the Vikings.

West Chester Rustin defeated Penncrest, 2-0. Blaise Cugini and Shannon Drakeley both scored for the Golden Knights.

Sophia Mahoney scored twice off assists from Liz Deal as St. Basil beat Mount St. Joseph, 3-1, in Catholic Academies League action. Delaney Gayton scored the Panthers' other goal off an assist from Ann Marie Coates, and Maria Storck led the way for St. Basil on defense.

Six different scorers found the back of the net in Philadelphia Academy Charter's 6-1 Public League victory against Olney. Kaera Kloehn, Alyssa Przychowicz, Taylor Teal, Camryn Yaletsko, Jordan Yaletsko, and Hailey Yaletsko netted goals.

Strath Haven defeated Pottsgrove, 1-0, after Danielle McNeely broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the second half. Maggie Forbes assisted on McNeely's goal, and Claire Wolgast made five saves to record the shutout.

Ryan Cole's free kick from 20 yards out proved the difference in Hatboro-Horsham's 1-0 win against Council Rock South. Goalkeeper Zack Kim posted his first shutout of the season for the Hatters.

Holy Ghost Prep and Father Judge drew 1-1 in a game that went to overtime. Holy Ghost's Nkosi Graham started the scoring in the first half off an assist by Max Giuliana. Owen Ovecka tied the game for Judge in the second before the teams held each other scoreless in overtime.

Unionville defeated Pottsgrove, 4-1. Evan Dougherty, Michael Hewes, Tommy Kelly, and Anthony Zucchero all scored for Unionville. Kyle Ketterer tallied two assists, and goalkeeper Alex Dolce made eight saves.

Cole Kendra scored one goal and assisted on two others as Upper Perk defeated Kutztown, 3-2. Ian Costanzo and Tyler Raymond also added scores, and Joe McMichael tallied an assist for Upper Perk.
