Dan Fleming scored 19 points as Haddonfield beat Haddon Heights, 52-45, Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the South Jersey Group 2 tournament. Mike DePersia added 16 for second-seeded Haddonfield, which will face third-seeded Camden in the sectional semifinals Saturday at 4 at Cherry Hill West. Te'Sean Pressley scored 17 for seventh-seeded Haddon Heights.

Craig Turner led top-seeded Cinnaminson with 16 points, but the Pirates fell to ninth-seeded Barnegat, 51-47, in South Group 2 quarterfinal action. Mike Revello led the visitors with 18 points in the upset win.

Dylan Deveney led all scorers with 26 points to lift Shawnee to a 76-62 win against visiting Kingsway in South Group 4 quarterfinal action. Connor Deveney finished with 14 points and Dean Noll added 13 points for the Renegades. Jamir Patterson posted 16 points to lead the Dragons in the loss.

Jahlil White tallied 19 points as host Wildwood Catholic held off Immaculata, 72-58, in South Non-Public B quarterfinal play. Caleb Fields chipped in 15 points and Charles Fields added 14 points in the home win.

Camden got an 18-point performance from Myles Thompson to earn a 68-58 win against Sterling in South Group 2 quarterfinal play. Thompson grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. Sterling's Chris Roe posted a game-high 22 points in the loss.

Girls’ Basketball

Alexa Therien posted 14 points to lead Cherokee to a 44-30 win against visiting Lenape in a South Group 4 quarterfinal contest. Ava Therien and Kennedy Wilburn scored 12 points apiece in the Chiefs' win. Shannon Mulroy led the Indians with 11 points in the loss.

In other South Group 4 action, Ciana Viccharelli scored 26 points as Shawnee toppled visiting Brick Memorial, 73-50. Lauren Lodge tallied 14 points and Sierra Sanson chipped in 13 for the Renegades.

Fiona Flynn scored 19 points, but No. 2 Cinnaminson fell in the South Group 2 quarterfinals to No. 7 Barnegat, 46-45. Barnegat's Shannon McCoy sunk two free throws to win the game with 0.1 seconds left on the clock. McCoy finished with 20 points.
