Junior Emily McAteer scored 30 points and surpassed 1,000 for her career as the Garnet Valley girls' basketball team beat Central League foe Harriton, 69-50, on Tuesday. McAteer also had 10 rebounds and two steals.

Morgan Falcone added 17 points for the Jaguars, who improved to 11-0 overall and 7-0 in league play. Brianne Borcky had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

Meg Wilcox guided Harriton with 17 points.

Abington's Samantha Brusha broke the school record for career three-pointers as the Ghosts defeated Truman, 90-37.

Brusha ended with 18 points and made her 117th career shot from beyond the arc. The previous record was 116 held by Jen Kelly, who graduated in 2009.

Pottstown's Ebony Reddick surpassed 1,000 points for her career as the Trojans lost 67-44 to Methacton. Reddick finished with 20 points on Tuesday.

Troy Butler added 14 points, six rebounds, and four steals for Paul Robeson, which improved to 10-2 overall and 5-0 in the division. Robert Tucker ended with 12 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks.

Cyrie Coates and Khalif Washington had 24 and 22 points, respectively, for Overbrook.
