Jefferson was also one of the nation's top high school players at Friend Central School. The West Philadelphia native was a 2012 McDonald's All-American before heading to Duke. Jefferson went on become a teammate of current Sixer reserve center Jahlil Okafor on Duke's 2015 NCAA championship team.  Granted five years of eligibility, Jefferson played 150 games as a Blue Devil, averaging 7.2 points and 6.3 rebounds for his career.

Mason, meanwhile, is the consensus college basketball national player of the year. He accomplished that feat after averaging 20.9 points, 5.2 assists and shooting 47.1 percent on three-pointers as a senior.

Forward Derek Willis (Kentucky) and guards Jabari Bird (California), James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana), and Marquise Moore (George Mason) will join Mason and Jefferson at Monday's workout.
