Sixers point guard T.J. McConnell's MRI result comes back negative

The Sixers called up two-way player Jacob Pullen to be with the team in T.J. McConnell's absence with a shoulder injury sustained against the Wizards.

An MRI Thursday morning revealed no structural damage in T.J. McConnell's sprained AC joint in his left shoulder.

The 76ers reserve point guard suffered the injury in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. His X-rays after the game were negative.

However, he remained in the Philadelphia area to have his MRI while his teammates were in Boston. The third-year veteran's shoulder is extremely sore. Even though he wants to play Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons, the team hasn't given a timeline for his return.

The Sixers are just elated that his shoulder has no damage following the scare.

In McConnell's absence, two-way point guard Jacob Pullen flew to Boston Thursday morning to be with the team.
