Joel Embiid will not only be a starter during the main event of the NBA's All-Star Weekend, he'll also take part in the skills challenge.

The skills challenge is a three-round, obstacle-course competition that includes dribbling, passing, agility, and three-point shooting. The other participants are Spencer Dinwiddie (Nets), Al Horford (Celtics), Lauri Markkanen (Bulls), Donovan Mitchell (Jazz), Jamal Murray (Nuggets), Lou Williams (Clippers), and last year's champion Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks).

Embiid, who is averaging 23.8 points and 11 rebounds, is just the third Sixer to take part in the skills challenge (Michael Carter-Williams in 2014 and Jrue Holiday in 2013) which will be held on Feb. 17 and broadcast on TNT.

The Saturday night all-star festivities also include the three-point competition and the dunk contest.
