The day for which some Philadelphia Eagles fans have been waiting a lifetime is here, and it looked like some of them spent all that time getting ready for it.
Some of our favorites:
The official Twitter for Team Giovanni, started for 10-year-old Giovanni Hamilton, a Pennsylvania child with a rare genetic condition, showed support for the Philadelphia Eagles. Giovanni has been featured on TLC's "Two in a Million," a show about people living with rare diseases.
Another shows a young boy named A.J., with a sign that reads: "I may be blind, but you don't have to see it to believe it."
Patriots QB Tom Brady came in for all kinds of grief from sign-wielders. Some posters riffed on the Eagles' unofficial anthem by Meek Mill, "Dreams and Nightmares" which has been both loved and hated. Yet another expressed this town's extreme distaste for sportscaster Cris Collinsworth.
Messages appeared from above, giving a nod to Bud Light's famed "Philly Philly, Dilly Dilly," while others showed admiration for quarterback Nick Foles. In Foles they trust.
The Eagles brought home the real thing, but fans wanted their own versions. Jenna Lamoreaux, a 30-year-old from Kensington, and her three friends came prepared with Eagles props in tow. Her friend created this custom champagne bottle — featuring the Eagles logo — and they made their own version of the Lombardi Trophy
