SUNDAY

Jonas Brothers

This is likely to be the loudest concert of the summer. Not from the sound coming from the stage, but from the screams emanating from the audience. JoBros Kevin, Joe, and Nick went their separate ways in 2013, but the now-grown-up former Disney stars have reunited, and are on tour in support of their new album, Happiness Begins.

7:30 p.m., Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad St., $49.95 to $499.95, 215-336-3600, wellsfargocenterphilly.com

MONDAY

Fringe Festival Preview

Thinking about checking out Fringe Festival this year, but not sure what you’d go see yet? This gives you a chance to see five-minute snippets of Fringe projects, including Beyond the Light, a puppetry and dance show, and Know Thyself, a philosophy salon.

7 p.m., the Rotunda, 4014 Walnut St., free, 215-413-1318, fringearts.com

TUESDAY

Night of Funk

Don’t expect a dose of Kool & the Gang at this night of funk. We’re talking about the wild strains of yeast that lend sometimes tart, sometimes fruity, always complex flavor to beverages like the ones you’ll sample at this event from Fishtown’s Kurant Brew & Brew. Their cider maker guides you through a tasting of two funky, aged ciders, plus charcuterie.

8 to 10 p.m., Kurant Brew & Brew, 436 E. Girard Ave., $30, kurantcider.com

WEDNESDAY

Beck and Cage the Elephant

Experimental musician Beck — who teamed up with Pharrell for “Saw Lightning,” the lead single from his forthcoming 14th album, Hyperspace — visits the BB&T Pavilion with support from Cage the Elephant.

6 p.m., BB&T Pavilion, 1 Harbour Blvd., Camden, $29.50 and up, 856-365-1300, livenation.com

THURSDAY

Our Night Out

This month’s edition of this meetup for the LGBTQ community and its allies takes place at Morgan’s Pier, where you can grab $5 Mainstay beers, $6 house wines, and $7 frozen cocktails.

6 to 9 p.m., Morgan’s Pier, 221 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., $5 general admission, 215-563-6417 ext. 117, dvlf.org

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY

Tame Impala

Australian psych-rock band Tame Impala — which is essentially the group name used by one musical mastermind, Kevin Parker — has steadily grown in popularity since the release of Innerspeaker in 2010. (It didn’t hurt that Rihanna covered the song “Same Ol’ Mistakes.”) The band has promised a new album in 2019, but has faced setbacks, including a California wildfire that consumed some of its gear.

8 p.m., Friday, Mann Center, 5201 Parkside Ave., sold out but resale tickets available, 215-546-7900, manncenter.org

Jim Gaffigan

One of the most popular stand-up comedians for more than a decade thanks to hit specials like last year’s Noble Ape, Gaffigan is honing in on acting this year: He’s got seven films on his docket, plus a new special, Quality Time, which just debuted Friday on Amazon Prime as its first original comedy special.

10 p.m., Saturday, the Borgata, 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, $35 to $79, 609-317-1000, theborgata.com
