Cottman poured in a school-record 41 points for Mastery Charter South and Matthews exploded for 38 points for visiting Bodine. When the smoke cleared, the result was a 68-66 victory for South in a nonleague game.

Cottman not only broke the previous record of 33 points scored by Wanyae Hartsfield in 2008 and 2009, but also nailed a free throw that gave South a two-point lead with 13 seconds left.

Maurice Nelson drilled a three pointer to force overtime and converted another in overtime to give Chester a 79-75 win over Huntingdon Prep (W. Va.) at West Virginia University.

Nelson scored 15 points and DeQuann Walker scored 21 points for the Clippers.

Troy Yancey scored 11 of his 23 points down the stretch and led Lamberton to a 66-62 win over visiting Bok.

The Blue Devils also got 25 points and 18 rebounds from Elijah Johnson.

Leonard Chester and Marquise Richards each collected 16 points to lead Paul Robeson past visiting Hope Charter, 56-48.

Nijay Kelly scored 32 points and Rahamon Scott chipped in with 26 points to lead Fels past host Carroll, 86-76.

Jay Hardy led a balanced Swenson scoring attack with 14 points and helped the Lions beat visiting Science Leadership, 54-43.

Nafeece Edwards notched 19 points as Washington beat host Sayre, 57-42.

Kyle Gibson collected 16 of his 28 points in the first quarter and lifted Christian Academy to a 71-43 win over visiting Calvary Christian (N.J.).

Public. Ikeal Johnson's layup with 24 seconds left in overtime lifted Elverson past host Parkway Northwest, 51-49.

Parkway's Brian Johnson sent the game into overtime. Two Osis paced the winning Bulldogs with 18 points.

Eric Mallory scored nine of his 16 points in the second half and sparked Central to a 48-40 win over host Edison.

Catholic. Joel Davidson scored 11 points as Cardinal O'Hara slipped past host Archbishop Ryan, 41-39.

Eddie Mitchell came through with 17 points and led La Salle to a 64-35 win over host Lansdale Catholic.

Roman Catholic raced to a 21-2 lead in the first quarter and ripped host West Catholic, 61-27. Britton Lee paced the Cahillites with 11 points.

Inter-Ac. Brendan Kilpatrick converted a three pointer with 4 minutes, 30 seconds left to give Malvern Prep its first lead and the Friars held on to beat visiting Episcopal Academy, 40-36. Kilpatrick scored 15 points.

Mike McGlinchey scored 10 of his 21 points down the stretch as Penn Charter came from behind to beat visiting Germantown Academy, 44-42.

Sema'j Reed paced Haverford School with 16 points and the Fords went on to beat host Chestnut Hill Academy, 46-35.

Central. Christian Martin scored 11 points and drained four free throws in the last 30 seconds to give Strath Haven a 52-47 win over visiting Penncrest.

Eric Eichenger and Rob McCurdy each scored nine points to lead Radnor past visiting Harriton, 43-34.

Brendan McNamee scored eight points in the first and third quarters and finished with 23 points for Springfield (Delaware County) in a 64-46 win over host Marple Newtown.

Lower Merion got 14 points from B.J. Johnson and handled visiting Garnet Valley, 77-32.

Suburban One National. Truman got 20 points from Merdic Green and converted 19 of 22 free throws to beat host Council Rock South, 50-41.

Ryan Arcidiacono picked up 18 points and boosted Neshaminy to a 61-50 win over visiting Abington.

Chris McMullin erupted for 20 points to lead Bensalem past visiting Pennsbury, 60-46.

Charlie Anastasi scored 13 points for Council Rock North in a 50-30 win over visiting William Tennent.

Suburban One Continental. Matt Kane nailed a pull-up jumper with 40 seconds left in overtime and allowed Hatboro-Horsham to beat visiting Quakertown, 41-39.

Kane and Zach Quattro each scored eight points for the Hatters.

Suburban One American. Jarrell Haywood picked up 14 points as Cheltenham held off host Upper Dublin, 40-37.

Norristown spread the scoring around and downed visiting Upper Merion, 51-36. Aaron Webb scored 12 points for the Eagles.

Jaylen Bond popped for 29 points and lifted Plymouth Whitemarsh past visiting Wissahickon, 70-40.

Ches-Mont. Tymeir Miller contributed 23 points for Coatesville in a 73-62 win over host Bishop Shanahan.

Bicentennial. Steve Kohlbrenner dropped in 18 points and led Devon Prep past visiting Holy Ghost Prep, 55-48, handing the Firebirds their first league loss of the season.

Jamear Seals scored 20 points and led MaST Charter past visiting Christopher Dock in overtime, 66-62.

Mike Hutson struck for 22 points as Phil-Mont Christian beat visiting Girard College, 60-52, giving the Falcons a sweep of the season series.

Friends Schools. In his first varsity start, senior Steve Bonitatibus scored six points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Germantown Friends in a 45-37 win over visiting Friends Select.

Wrestling

Tim Burgoyne's takedown in overtime in the first bout of the day sparked St. Joseph's Prep a 42-36 win over visiting Bishop Eustace in a nonleague match. Burgoyne won his bout at 130 pounds, 6-4.

Corey McQuiston earned a pin in 1 minute, 11 seconds at 112 pounds and helped West Chester Rustin beat host Great Valley, 44-23.

Public. Ricardo Calcano needed just 19 seconds to pin his opponent at 189 pounds as Frankford beat visiting Kensington, 78-0, to earn the final Public League playoff berth.

Dan Sinvoni earned a pin in 1:10 at 189 pounds and helped Northeast beat host Central, 48-21.

Edison got a 22-second pin from Ricardo Robles at 125 pounds and beat host Lincoln, 71-12.

Inter-Ac. Cody Russell collected a pin in 1:16 at 215 pounds and helped Episcopal Academy beat host Malvern Prep, 39-36.

Zachary Rego pinned in 1:52 at 152 pounds and Haverford School got five wins by way of forfeit en route to a 63-15 win over visiting Chestnut Hill Academy.

Central. Sam Tustin needed 17 seconds to pick up a pin at 140 pounds and Garnet Valley went on to beat visiting Strath Haven, 62-6.

Ches-Mont. Matt Carpenter needed 53 seconds to collect a pin at 189 pounds and Downingtown East went on to beat visiting Bishop Shanahan, 60-18.

Friends Schools. Will Cauffman picked up a pin at 145 pounds in 4:59 as Westtown dropped visiting Germantown Friends, 60-14, to remain undefeated (8-0, 4-0).
