The Bushwackers to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

The fun-loving Bushwackers will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame March 28, the night before WrestleMania 31, the company officially announced Monday.

Before their days in the WWE, the team, comprised of Luke Williams and Butch Miller, made a name for themselves around the world on the territorial wrestling circuit as the Sheepherders, an aggressive duo that had a penchant for violence.

The New Zealand natives eventually caught the eye of Vince McMahon, who then added them to his growing roster of stars in 1989

Upon entering the WWE, however, they were given a new coat of paint. Gone were the violent Sheepherders, and in came the fun-loving Bushwackers.

Although the exact opposite of the characters that gave them notoriety, Williams and Miller excelled in their new roles and left a memorable mark on fans as their lovable characters.

The Bushwackers now join Randy Savage, Rikishi and Arnold Schwarzenegger as members of the 2015 class.
