Need something to do down the Shore? Don't worry, we've got you covered.

Rich Reinhart Junior Clamshell Pitch

Named for the former president and founder of the International Clamshell Pitching Club of Cape May, this friendly competition of shell throwers ages 6-11 and 12-17 supplies participants with the former dwellings of bivalve mollusks, or lets kids BYO shell. Beats BucketBall, any day.

Noon Friday, (11 a.m. registration), Windsor Beach (238 Beach Ave., across from Congress Hall), Cape May, 609-884-9565, discovercapemay.com

Wild Wings Festival

Like a PG-rated, outdoor version of Wing Bowl, this celebration of fried and spiced chicken appendages — courtesy of 20 vendors — includes an eating contest and women known as "Wing Girls," along with a rock wall, cornhole contest, mechanical bull, inflated battle balls, and live music.

5-10 p.m. Friday, Fox Park, Ocean Avenue between Montgomery & Burk Avenues, free to enter (pay as you go), 800-992-9732, wildwoodsnj.com

The Spinners

Sole original member Henry Fambrough holds together this Detroit-born fivesome, leading the tunes — "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love," "One of a Kind (Love Affair)," "The Rubberband Man"— that set the 1960s and 1970s to, well, spinning.

8 p.m. Friday, Cape May Convention Center, 714 Beach Ave., Cape May, $48, 609-884-9565, discovercapemay.com

Alanis Morissette

Proving the '90s can create a fan base as long-lasting as any decade, Morissette reprises her repertoire from 1995 (the year of Jagged Little Pill) to a sold-out audience. Anyone who gets to belt out "Ironic" oughta know how lucky they are.

9 p.m. Friday, Tropicana, 2381 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, sold out (resale from $185), 800-653-8000, ticketmaster.com

Brigantine Art Walk

Dozens of local artists and their work line the sidewalks for the third and last time of the season. Brigantine's blocks-long setup shows off painting, photography, pottery, illustrations, mixed media, folk art — even live performances.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 24th & 26th Street & 26th Street Field, Brigantine, 609-800-2821, brigantinechamber.com

Barnegat Lighthouse Climb

Summer's end offers a rare chance to climb the 217 steps of circa-1859 "Ol' Barney" beyond sunset.

7-9 p.m. Saturday, $3, $1 ages 6-11, Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, 609-494-2016, visitlbiregion.com

Amy Schumer & Friends

Love her, hate her, you can't deny this stand-up comic has set the bar high for both truth- and dirty-joke-telling. The highly successful Schumer (Trainwreck, I Feel Pretty, and The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo are among her greatest hits) keeps doing her part for making women unabashedly love the person in the mirror and busting a gut all the while.

8 p.m. Saturday, Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, 1000 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, $99 & $150, 800-653-8000, ticketmaster.com

Ken Jeong

Fresh from a star turn in box office blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians and far past his role in The Hangover, Jeong stops by the Borgata for stand-up that stands out.

9 p.m. Saturday, The Borgata, 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, $59-$65, 888-228-4748, theborgata.com

Earth, Wind & Fire

If you've got to get Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson and Verdine White back into your life, this weekend's the time. The ever-bedazzled threesome and their singing-and-dancing entourage coast onstage and hit their hits: "Let's Groove," "September," "Boogie Wonderland."

8 p.m. Sunday, The Borgata, 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, $90-$120, 888-228-4748, theborgata.com
