Toys 'R' Us to close 7 stores in Pa., 12 in N.J.
The nineteen Toys 'R' Us stores targeted for closure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are among 180 nationwide.
New Jersey-based Toys 'R' Us is planning to close about 180 stores across the country in an effort to restructure the company and emerge from bankruptcy protection.
The number represents about one-fifth of its stores nationwide.
Marked for closure are seven stores in Pennsylvania, including Horsham, and a dozen in New Jersey, including Burlington and Cherry Hill.
CNBC reports that the shutdown still need court approval, but management is planning to start the closures beginning in early February.
