All on Instagram, cake by the pound: The folks at Fishtown's Cake Life Bake Shop spent part of the holiday weekend whipping up an elaborate custom cake for Beyoncé, who celebrated her birthday Sunday night at Budweiser's Made in America festival.

Cake Life posted a picture of the three-tiered, black and gold cake on the bakery's Instagram account, adding: "Happy birthday @Beyonce! We hope you enjoyed this custom geode cake at your party last night!! It was an honor to be part of your big day."

The cake was delivered Sunday to the Made in America festival on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where Jay-Z performed and at one point encouraged the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday" to his wife. Beyoncé turned 36 on Monday.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who have spent Labor Day weekend in Philly for six years, have developed a taste for the city's food scene, particularly Talula's Garden on Washington Square, where they've eaten several times in recent years.
