Arrest made in deadly hit-run in Bucks County

A Bucks County man has been arrested and charged in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian on Route 611 in Warrington, police said.

Andrew Guzman-Jimenez was taken into custody at his Plumstead Township residence after police found the 2018 KIA SUV they said was involved in the fatal collision based on the damage to the vehicle.

The pedestrian was struck about 6:05 p.m. Wednesday on the 1400 block of Route 611 in Warrington by a driver who did not stop, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later reported finding the vehicle about 10:30 p.m.

Family members told 6ABC the victim was Sigrid Davis, 79. They said she had just been dropped off from a casino bus trip when she was struck near her driveway.

Guzman-Jimenez, who was charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, driving without a license, and related offenses, was being held at the Bucks County Prison with bail set at 10 percent of $700,000, officials said.
