Ronde Barber, who will be calling this afternoon's Eagles-Buccaneers game in the booth for Fox, is a name that doesn't conjure many positive thoughts among Birds fans.

After all, it was Barber who intercepted Donovan McNabb and returned it 92 yards for a touchdown in the 2002 NFC Championship Game, sealing a Super Bowl appearance (and eventual victory) for the Buccaneers and sending the Eagles home in what would be the team's last game played at Veterans Stadium.

"It was a big game and my play was a big play, but they have so many more," Barber told The Athletic's Greg Auman. "Three years prior to that, they were whupping our (butt) every time we played. So my retort to all those Philly people: Y'all beat us in the first round of the playoffs. Why didn't you win that year? That's what they need to ask themselves."

Barber, in his fifth season in the booth for Fox, will be joined by his twin brother Tiki (who also has a long history with Eagles fans thanks to his 10 seasons with the New York Giants) and play-by-play announcer Kenny Albert.

Regardless of the announcers, Eagles fans looking for a free streaming option are in luck. The NFL is streaming all primetime, national and in-market games for free this season on both the NFL Mobile and Yahoo Sports apps. The only catch is the game can only be streamed for free on phones and tablets.

What to know about the Eagles

• Eagles fans might not have fond memories of Ronde Barber, but the former Buccaneers cornerback was wide receiver Nelson Agholor's favorite player growing up in Tampa.

• Quarterback Nick Foles, starting the second week in a row in place of the injured Carson Wentz, nearly ended up signing with the Buccaneers during the 2017 offseason. His daughter Lily helped bring him back to Philadelphia.

• Among other things the Eagles will be battling today is the heat. It's expected to reach 91 degrees by kickoff, and with the high humidity Florida is famous for, it'll feel like 104 degrees to the players. "We're not going to let it be a distraction," said defensive lineman Fletcher Cox.

What to know about the Buccaneers

• It appears former Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be suiting up after reportedly clearing the league's concussion protocol. Last week, Jackson scorched the New Orleans Saints with five catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns, and always has a chip on his shoulder when he faces off against his former team.

• Jackson isn't the only weapon fill-in quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will have at his disposal. In addition to fellow wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the Buccaneers have two 6-foot-6 tights ends — O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate — who can also get down the field.
